Nearly ten years ago I wrote a book of poetry entitled Blood Red Dawn. The book captured my experiences in both Iraq and Afghanistan as well as a few of the struggles afterward. I've always wanted to record these poems to an audiobook and more than that I have dreamed of reciting them with the accompaniment of music.
Well, I'm finally starting that journey! I've begun recording my poetry with musician and fellow Veteran John O'Neill. Stay tuned here for the poems we release from Blood Red Dawn and hopefully more! The end result at some point next year will be a Kickstarter campaign to release our hard work in as many forms as we can!
